My Term 2 Holiday 2013 Report
Towards my holidays. My holidays started at 10 am on Friday(the last day of the term). I missed school on Friday(the last day of the term) so that I could travel from Auckland to Thames(down the line) to see my whanau. It all began when we got into the car. We travelled and when we finally got to Thames, I straight away ran upstairs to my Grandad a big hug. I then hugged my aunty and said hi to the others! My Mum then baked a pie(mince and cheese), so we had a big kai. We had scones, a big pie sprite, cookies and more. After that we cleaned Mum, Dad and Brother got ready to go back home! I kissed them goodbye and that’s all when it began. I ate chocolate, watched movies and had naps. During my holidays, I went to Thames and I spent time baby-sitting, going shopping and doing fun things with my Grandad! I had so much fun in my holidays, that I will do it again! You just wait!!!
This is my holiday report! be sure to leave me some comments about this report for my next report!

Writing Features
- She is the sun, warming every cold aspect of my life, the heat of her existence lulls me to a place of comfort.
- He is a rough man, the build of a demi-god, destructive as an earthquake, willing to submit to nobody.
- The beach was a scorching furnace, under the sun, slowly cooking the people on it, as they tried (and failed) to get a tan.
- The sun supervised it all like a hot-headed principle leading a detention.
- The sand of the beach welcomed the gently rushing sea, which took the golden sand and the diamond-like rocks back to it's watery home.
THIS IS MY WRITING FEATURES I AM EXPECTED TO HAVE DURING MY WORK. BE SURE TO WHIZZ BY AND SHOOT US A COMMENT INCLUDING FF AND FB FOR MY NEXT BLOG POST!

“What’s that?” Gasped Raj.
“What?” Asked Sara following his finger pointing.
“I can’t see anything!” Her eyes were not yet used to the darkness.
“That look! There’s something moving by the greenhouse.” Hissed Raj. Something glided silently past the panes of glass which shone in the moonlight.
“Yes! I can see it now.” Whispered Sara.”
“It’s fox Raj.” Whispered Sarah.
“ No I don’t think so! It’s too tall. It’s more like a small person, perhaps a child.” Raj looked towards the greenhouse. He breathed.
“There it is again! Did you see it Sara?” Sara could not believe her eyes.
“I saw it and I could see through it she said.” Raj nodded his head
“A ghost!” They both whispered.

Inquiry Unit Reflection 2013
The past few weeks we’ve been developing our knowledge and we’ve been trying to find solutions to decrease the amount of money we spend on removing the rubbish we produce in our school. Constantly, daily, monthly, yearly, we always end up on the wrong pathway. We always hang out with the wrong crowd and then we end up doing bad things. This is just like littering. You just constantly keep doing it once you’ve done it once! Once you’ve done it once, you get used to it. Then it becomes a life routine. Luckily I have a solution. To decrease the amount of money we spend removing our rubbish at school. I thought about it and came up with reusing most of the recyclable items we throw out. Back home I always had to make something out of an egg carton, or a cardboard box. Now that I’ve moved to Auckland, it’s all changed. Like you buy plastic plates, throw them in the bin. Plastic cups, throw them in the bin and then we don’t realise the facts are true!
The past few weeks we’ve been developing our knowledge about rubbish. For years, different groups of people have been lead into different parts of our school. Most of us litter and some of us don’t. This is a real big issue because it harms marine animals in the ocean AND it could also ruin our school reputation. In our lives sometimes we get bothered because of the mess they leave behind for others to pick up. Basically, we don’t care about anyone but ourselves. We can stop this by making others(including myself) take the time to walk over to a bin and taking the time to talk about it with a bunch of friends!
Basically the rubbish I produce will harm our future generations and constantly kills marine animals. Imagine you as a seal and you come up onto a rock with rubbish strangling you. If you could think more, would you?
THIS IS MY REFLECTION I COMPLETED FOR ABOUT HALF N HOUR. IT'S ABOUT THE INQUIRY UNIT WE STUDIED. BE SURE TO FLING BY AND LEAVE ME SOME POSITIVE COMMENTS INCLUDING FF AND FB ABOUT MY WORK FOR THE NEXT TIME I POST MY WORK!
