Our second period was Science. We each took turns at looking down a microscope to try and find three things in 3 different sets of microscopes. In one set of 3 microscopes, there was Paramesicum. Which is a single-celled freshwater animal which had a characteristic slipper-like shape and is covered with cilia. In another set of 3 microscopes we had human cells and in the other 3 set was onion(plant). We also learnt that not everything that looks or smells like water, can be water. It could be a chemical or something poisenious.
He also mixed a chemical and a powder and lit it with a match and it was on fire but the fire wasn't a fire colour. It was greenish as you can see in the picture above.
Leave me some comments about this for next time we come to Tamaki College for the day!
